It's not crafty but I was excited!
I did this this weekend!
Putting all your linens in a pillow case! I organized my closet this weekend, and mine doesn't look quite as pretty as the picture but it works! :)

Updates....the frames
Remember this project?
The holes have been drilled into the frames! One more step done!
I know it's a horrible picture, but I'm excited! I'm getting red ribbon for this and then red lettering
And the other one has been a bugger but this is what I have so far:
I just need to do the black letter on my mom's crikut to finish it! I changed the ribbon around a little bit, but it was more just to find out how it would look!
ALMOST DONE!
I need feedback!
From Pinterest I found these cute bookmark ideas that I've decided to do as Valentines. Now I normally don't even do Valentines, so I think it's just another reason for me to buy more ribbon.
I can't decided which way I want to do them! So please vote in the comment sections!
A: These are just hot glued to hold it together
(Are frills out? Like the bottom right hand corner? )
Or B: These are tied in some way:
Or C: I haven't attempted this one yet, but it looks like too much to be hanging from a book:
Please vote in the comment section! I would love to hear your feedback! I can't make up my mind. And if you want one, make sure I have your address! :)
The Makeup boards are COMPLETE!
I'm pretty proud of these, but I couldn't have finished them without the help of my stepdad!
Thank goodness for people with tools (or know how to use them more of that matter!)
My new board!
And here is my little sister Chelseas!
Since I bought the frames at the Dollar Tree, I knew something would happen so I have to find something to cover this awesome little part that came undone on her frame:
I'm thinking a little felt flower and hoping it doesn't show, dang it
So I got the magnetic tape out and went to work on adding my makeup to mine. Word to the wise, do NOT buy this kind:
I fought with this tape so much I wanted to tear my hair out (more than I already do on my own :)
But here it is...Some of my makeup didn't stick so I have to get better magnets for it
I made the side little brush holder out of a toilet paper roll with some fabric around it.
I still have some leftovers I have to worry about too! AHH!
But for another day, because I am over makeup for the day!

I forgot all about my first Pinterest party!
Last Friday, I attended my first Pinterest party. I didn't get much done as I was holding a precious little one who was fast asleep on me, but my best friend decided to BEDAZZLE everything in sight. I just wanted to share.
She bedazzled some shoes, her phone cover, and my WATER bottle! She's just a little crazy, but I love her!

This has what it has turned out to be....
I have a book. With Pinterest ideas. It's becoming bigger at the moment. Someone needs to stop me.
This is my stash of ribbons and beads...I even had to buy a container for the beads. Oops.
I have even made a cookbook! With all the fun recipes from Pinterest. And don't worry, I recycle paper so I print on both sides not to waste paper!
Nice and organized with tabs! You can find it at Costco for $11.00!
And so this is what my pretend crafting room currently looks like:
Until then HAPPY CRAFTING!
My surprise Valentines....
I have tried to keep this hidden, but I so want to share! I got the idea from here:
I want to make Valentines and attach a little bookmark. I have been playing around with ribbon and haven't finalized the look quite yet so don't make fun!
I found these and kinda like these too!
But this is my project in the works! It's becoming to be a trend.....these are all a wok in progress.
Why can't my necklaces look like the picture?
After my first attempt at the necklace, I then found this one!
And this one:
So then it was attempted:
Not quite as bad as the first one, but it says to measure it out and I kinda skipped that step because well I have a hard time being perfect and I'm also lazy!
Maybe the next one will be better!
Brr... it's cold outside
I'm still looking for the right shirts for these. But I did attempt this with a scarf from the dollar store that I just cut up like the picture.
I braided it as the strands were a bit thicker, but I am still playing around with it.
Here is a close up!
I found this little flower, that I'm trying to attempt but It might take lots of felt and practice
This is what I have so far....
Wish me luck!
I try to be domestic sometimes!
I fell in love with this little creation.
I searched EVERYwhere for a candlestick that was wooden. I couldn't find one anywhere.
I finally found one at Michaels and then went and showed my friend who had already told me she had a wooden one that I could have. When did I miss that?
Guess who went and returned her purchase?
I love this candlestick. It was gold and she spray painted it black and it looks amazing. I'm not too sure about the plate though as it might be just a bit too big. I may be going to the dollar store and getting stove covers and spray painting them.
DIY Modge Podge..Right
Looks easy enough right??
I found a cute jar at the dollar store, and bought some elmers glue and filled it half up and then half up with water.
I am not a believer yet. Maybe I should add some more glue. We will see tomorrow when my re-glued project doesn't stick and I turn to superglue!
I can't wait to give these away.
I wished I had kids so that I could have made one of these for me, but since I don't I elected some friends to make them for!
How precious is this.
Here is my journey on these bad boys!
It started out with a frame.
Then I found out the prints that they wanted on the front of them and used my homemade Modge Podge (More about that later) to glue on the cover paper.
This one was a pain in my butt. It decided not to stick. I think it's the texture of the frame, so I reglued it so hopefully it will stay this time. Next step is super glue. I'm at that point! :)
Here is the 2nd one I'm making:
And tonight I decided the frame that was light tan frame needed to be black. So I painted!
I am not made out for painting I don't think. I'm going to have to find another backing to make it look pretty!
Again, have to have the step dad drill some holes and I have the lettering to do still, but I have the ribbon!
Still in progress!
Here is an easy one!
I don't have a bed skirt and haven't been able to find one because I change my bed topping way too much to have one fit match each one, so I found this little trick and loved it!
I just put a fitted sheet under my bed and it works perfect.
This isn't actually my bed, because mine isn't made right now and I didn't want to take a picture of a messy bed. So we are pretending.
Lions and Tigers and ZEBRAS!
I don't use too much makeup but have a ton in an basket and can't always find the same stuff I use every day!
And then there was the makeup mirror:
So I searched and searched for the best of frames. I went all over and they wanted a million dollars. And since the nice sister that I am, I asked my little sister wanted one and of course she loved it!
So I am making 2.
So I staged these after killing myself taking the backing off the frames.
Here is my sisters.
This was my original color plan that I wanted to do for mine.
And then I had to make a trip to Lowes. For the backing and to make the makeup stay on the board you have to use Steel. My little sister and I went to Lowes and looked like idiots. And then we asked where it might be located and the guy showed us and walked off. And then we got confused. We had to go then find ANOTHER helper as we didn't know how to calculate anything! The next guy was the best. I even schooled him with his own tape measure when I showed him that my dimensions DID work out. I was very proud of myself.
Oh and btw, steel cuts you....I learned this the hard way. I really should be blonde.
Then I went to Joannes and that was a mistake. I found the BEST fabric ever. ZEBRA!
I just had to change my plans. Here is the frame and fabric ready to go.
Here is the frame and fabric ready to go for Chelseas' mirror.
And I got this HUGE thing of magnetic tape to prepare for how much crap I'm going to have to be putting on my board, plus my little sisters!
My stepdad will be cutting the steel later this week for me, so hopefully these are finished by the end of the week! I can't wait.
