Coming soon. Hopefully!

This is so me. I'm always late and can't tell time what so ever.

I bought a canvas to start this, but it's not as dark as this so I don't know if it will work out for me. Now that I see it again, (not following instructions, AGAIN), I need a darker frame.

Going to do the letters with my moms Cricut! Yeah!

And then, there is the best ever!
VANDALS!

I saw this at Craft Warehouse and thought it was an already made dishcloth and was super excited. Until I opened it and saw it was all full print. Dang, I thought I got lucky!

I'm thinking some dish towels and dish rags are going to be made to go with the rest of my vandal gear in my kitchen!
(potholder, glasses, shotglasses, soon to be wine glasses)

LOVE IT!

Currently Working on....

I fell in love..with this poster. Without the wording (blah)

So I gathered supplies, again not thinking at all as I should have gotten red burlap instead of red felt, but I WILL make it work!

So here are my materials...there is one pack of red buttons missing from the picture.
 (more on that soon enough)

Let the painting begin!

Yes, I'm a sloppy painter, but that's what the painters tape is for!
Can't wait to take it off tomorrow to see how crooked my lines are!

I cut out my heart and then went crap, she used burlap and a glue gun, what will work on felt.
Yes, I tried Modge Podge. I'm that good at this!
I haven't learned that a glue gun will work with anything, but there are so many buttons!

In the inspiration picture she only uses one pack of red buttons. Um, I must have failed in Kindergarten too because my heart looks okay, but it's huge! So the none pictured buttons will need to be used on this HUGE heart ( just like mine, HA)

But with the time coming to 3am, this will have to wait until tomorrow. I will be using the glue gun to put each one on this dang heart. Sometimes I wonder if I should just buy things instead!

Oh, and can anyone tell me what the heck they attach these to the canvas's for?
 Anyone?

Stay tuned for the finished project!

Inspiration Board....My WAY!

I saw these and had to have one. Little did I know they used a cork bulletin board, but if I would have read how they did it, I would have known these things. But of course I didn't. That or I forgot!

So I have no idea how it came to me, but I went and got a foam board, some burlap and some brad pins...thinking omg best idea ever...

Insomnia has kicked in again full force so guess what I did!

Not too bad at all! I obviously can't put the brackets in a straight line but who's really looking that close right?
(Quit looking)

And here is is!!! My current projects, and projects I want to work on soon!
I used old earrings that I had just sitting in a bin and those are holding in my file lined print outs!

Not too bad at all! Until I pin too many times and the foam breaks down, but we aren't going to worry about that just yet! I was a very inexpensive project!

Sparkley keys!

Every girl likes sparkles...

So I went up to Walmart during my sickness for cough medicine and not being able to sleep and found some glitter paint by crayola. I thought I hit the jackpot.
I for some reason can't follow directions on how people do things and maybe that is why mine don't turn out just right!

Here are mine:

Let's just say that paint sucks, but after a 2nd coat they don't look that bad and I need to put some finishing glossy nail polish top coat on it and it might just make them all better...

But don't think I'm going to stop there...this is to be continued. I just have to go find some more keys to do!

Vases, Vases, EVERYWHERE!

I had the best crafting time with my friend Chris and we painted some vases and I got paint everywhere...Including in her pantry door somehow!

Here was our inspiration:

So I gathered all the supplies, 1 vase from the dollar store, and then 2 that I found in the garage of someone whom I was dog/house sitting for and she was going to thrown away (gasp)
The vase is the only thing in this image that I actually used btw...

We didn't use any of the product listed in the inspiration post from Pinterest.
That might have been our first mistake.

In this project I learned patience. I was trying to shake mine to make the paint drip faster. Yeah, that didn't work out so great. Thank you Chris for teaching me this lesson! :)

You put paint in the bottom of the vase and turn it around so that it goes to all sides and then leave it upside down to drip. We had to add extra paint and one small bottle of acrylic paint isn't the best to use as it's not always enough.

And here are the finished products!
The red one is NOT painted, but I obtained that as I tried to do the farther left one red,
and it didn't turn out so well!

 Here is the Yellow

The Blue!

And I came home and hated the way the red one so I used soft soap and some water and washed it all away and then I attempted it again so I did the final blue one!
Here it is dripping away!

So if you have a spare vase, please feel free to give it to Chris or I..I think we are addicted now!

One Down, Two more I have to start over on! Pinterest wins again!

I am finally done with one!

I was in the process of making 3 total of these and let's just say trail and error because on the other 2 I have to start all the way OVER! The lettering is a lot harder than it seems!
